In an announcement made today, Etihad Airways confirmed that its flights between Abu Dhabi and Zanzibar will be extended until the 14th of January 2023. It is expected that the service will continue to be operated at its current schedule, which is three times per week. This will be until the 26th November, when a fourth flight will be introduced as part of the holiday schedule for the end of the year.

Zanzibar flights extended by Etihad Airways until January 2023The flights will be operated by modern Airbus A320 aircraft. This will provide travelers with a wide range of options to travel throughout the week to the popular Indian Ocean archipelago that is home to more than 12,000 islands. Earlier this year, Etihad launched its seasonal Zanzibar service on 17th June. This service was originally scheduled to operate until 18th September, but is expected to operate throughout the rest of 2022.
